Gina Larson, of Longmont, Colorado shot 8-over 152 (77-75) at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, to win the RMJGT Tournament of Champions Invitational by seven shots. She had six birdies on the weekend, 3 on the Palm course and 3 on the Pine course.
16 year old Larson won six RMJGT events this year and finished second in two. Gina was awarded 2009 RMJGT Player of the Year. Gina Larson, a 2011 graduate of Niwot High School has committed to play golf for Colorado State University. Golfweek has named Miss Larson the player of the week.
Gina Larson has accomplished so much in her junior career. The Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour who hosts events in states from Idaho to Arizona, is proud to announce Gina Larson as the Player of the Year and the Tournament of Champions winner for 2009.
