- What does RMJGT offer that other tours don’t?
Our Tour Director, Tracy Cologne, has facilited over 300 junior golf tournaments in the past 5 years. She is a USGA rules official and has developed numerous relationships with college coaches throughout the nation. She is an EXPERT in developing junior players and taking them to the collegiate level. Working with youth is her passion and she believes golf is a confidence builder. She believes ”having good self-esteem is essential for these young people to pursue their dreams.” RMJGT offers quality venues giving the players the ultimate amount of exposure possible. Members can particpate at all tournaments regardless of their skill level.
- What happens after I register for membership?
You will receive an email containing your Player’s Club ID and Password from BlueGolf. Be careful to remember your Player’s Club ID and Password as you will need them for tournament registration.
- How soon can I register for tournaments after I have become a member?
Once you have received your Player’s Club ID and Password, you are able to register for tournaments immediately.
- What forms of payment does R.M.J.G.T.’s Junior Tour accept?
All registrations are done online and we accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
- What if I don’t have a credit card?
Please call the R.M.J.G.T. Staff at 1-888-763-5909. We will consider this on a case-by-case basis.
- What is the refund policy?
-The initial tournament deposit is non-refundable.
-A withdrawal within 7 to 14 days of the event will result in 50% of the tournament fee being applied to a future 2013 tournament.
-A withdrawal within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the entire tournament fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
- What Happens if the Weather forces Cancellation?
-R.M.J.G.T.’s Junior Tour makes every attempt to hold an event even in inclement weather. However, safety is our biggest priority. In the event of weather, please plan on arriving at the course for your scheduled tee time and we will update you upon arrival.
-The tournament will only be cancelled if the host course and R.M.J.G.T. deems the players’ safety to be in jeopardy or the course becomes unplayable.

What is the point allocation for the R.M.J.G.T.’s Junior Tour?

- How will the Player of the Year be determined?
The Player of the Year will be awarded to the highest point recipient in each age division at the conclusion of the 2013 season.
- Is there a stroke limit in R.M.J.G.T. events?
No, there is no stroke limit in any R.M.J.G.T.’s Junior Tour events.
Yes, pull carts are allowed at all events, as long as they are permitted by the host course.
- How do I know what tee-box to play from during my practice round?
Visit the info page for the event you are playing. CLICK on the division you are registered for in the CONTESTS section of the page.
Here are our yardage guidelines for each age division:
Boys 10-12 : 5500-5900 Yards
Girls 14 and under 5500-5900 Yards
Girls 15-19: 5800-6200 Yards
Boys 13-14: 6200-6600 Yards
Boys 15-19: 6800+ Yards
- What are the criteria for tournaments to be nationally ranked?:
Junior Golf Scoreboard
In order for scores from our events to be included on Junior Golf Scoreboard for national rankings, each age group must have at the least five participants who complete at least 36 holes. Events with stroke limits will not be ranked. Also, to be ranked, all participants must play from a minimum of 4,500 yards and not shorter than the forward-most USGA rated tees.
AJGA Performance Based Entry for Tournament of Champions
The Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour 2013 Tournament of Champions Winner and 2013 Player of the Year in the Boys 15-19 and Girls 14-19 Divisions will earn 1 tournament exemption.
Boys 15-19 Player of the Year: 1 Tournament Exemption
Girls 14-19 Player of the Year: 1 Tournament Exemption
Boys 13-14 Player of the Year: 1 JAS Tournament Exemption
2013 Tournament of Champion Winner Boys 15-19: 1 Tournament Exemption
2013 Tournament of Champion Winner Girls 13-19: 1 Tournament Exemption
*The AJGA will consider ranking any tournament with the minimum field size requirements:
40 Boys 15-19
12 Girls 15-19
