TRACY COLOGNE, Tournament Director, has lived in Colorado most of her life. She resides in Monument with her husband Vince and sons, Max and Garrett. She has facilitated over 300 junior golf tournaments in the past 5 years.  She is a USGA rules official and has developed numerous relationships with college coaches throughout the nation.  She is an EXPERT in developing junior players and taking them to the collegiate level.  Working with youth is her passion and she believes golf is a confidence builder. Having good self-esteem is essential for these young people to pursue their dreams.

TRENT WEARNER,Director of Golf Instruction, is a respected PGA member and teacher as well as a member of an elite group of the nation’s top instructors (AMF Instructor Division). In 2004 at age 31, Wearner became the youngest recipient of the Colorado PGA Teacher of the Year award. Since then he has been thrust into the national arena earning the following accolades:
• Top 20 Teacher in America Under 40 – Golf Digest
• PGA Teacher of the Year – 2004 Colorado Section
• Top Teacher in the Southwestern U.S. – GOLF Magazine
• Top 50 Kids Teachers in America – U.S. Kids Golf
• Best Teachers in State – Golf Digest
•He is also the author of popular practice book Golf Scrimmages.
He is founder of The Trent Wearner Golf Academy which leads the way in Junior Golf in the Rocky Mountain region.

STEVE BEACH has been teaching golf at Glenmoor Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado for over 25 years. During his tenure he has been instrumental in developing highly respected junior golf programs and players. Steve achieved PGA Professional Certification status in golf instruction and general management. My approach to teaching is to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable. I establish realistic goals and programs for my students based on athletic ability, physical limitations, the availability of practice time, and commitment.

I stress the importance of the short game and use the fundamentals as a building block to improve on long game skills.

 

DR. DENISE MCGUIRE, Mental Coach, is a licensed psychologist, performance coach and founder of Get in the Zone (www.getinthezone.net) a company which utilizes leading-edge technology and scientifically-grounded methods to help golfers optimize their performance both on and off the course.
Dr. Denise believes that golfers can learn to play in their optimal zone through developing greater awareness of their mental, emotional and physiological tendencies during performance. She uses an integrated model of instruction and works closely with PGA and LPGA teaching professionals to tailor the best performance plan for each golfer. Her clients include both professional and amateur players ranging from beginners to high school, collegiate, LPGA tour players and mini-tour golfers. Dr. Denise is passionate about junior golfer development and understands the importance of supporting both junior golfers and their parents in reaching their goals and navigating the world of competitive junior golf. She works with many junior golfers, some of whom are state champions and are top-ranked in the nation.
She has developed performance programs for numerous golf organizations such as the Colorado Junior Golf Association, Colorado Women’s Golf Association, The McGetrick Golf Academy, The Executive Women’s Golf Association, Colorado State University Women’s Golf Team and Regis University Men’s Golf Team.

DEE TIDWELL, Director of Fitness, is the owner of Championship Golf Fitness and is the Director of Fitness at the McGetrick Golf Academy. He has served as conditioning coach for PGA Tour players Arron Oberholser and Joe Duran, both tournament winners in 2006. Dee is the co-creator of www.golffitnessguys.com, a blog dedicated to helping the golf professionals, golf fitness professionals and ordinary players attain levels of success they seek. His latest venture is the creation of www.juniorgolfnewsletter.com, a blog and newsletter dedicated to junior golfers and providing them with the latest golf and performance information just for juniors!
